Command Chief Warrant Officer Tommy G. Shumaker pinned Virginia's newest warrant officers during Warrant Officer Candidate School graduation ceremonies held at Ft. Rucker, Ala., on May 2, 2003. They are Warrant Officer Jason Evans and Warrant Officer Kevin Jackameit of the 91st Troop Command and Warrant Officer Henry Dabney of 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation.

The Virginia Army National Guard received three outstanding new warrant officers from a graduating class of 45 candidates.

Shumaker said, "What a great feeling to have the opportunity to pin such fine soldiers as they became warrant officers today. As I see the warrant officer program evolving in today's modern army, these graduates give me the comfort of knowing that leadership and technical knowledge will continue to exist in the Virginia Army National Guard."
