SANDSTON, Va. — With the Virginia Air National Guard’s largest unit now based at Langley Air Force Base, the Virginia Air Guard is moving its primary recruiting office to Hampton Roads.

The main recruiting office for the Virginia Air National Guard is temporarily located at Langley Air Force Base after recently moving from Sandston. In the near future the office will make one final move to a storefront location in Turnbery Crossing Shopping Center, 12638-20 Jefferson Ave. in Newport News.

The recruiting staff provides interested men and women with information regarding military training and the benefits and opportunities of serving in the Virginia Air National Guard. They track vacancies within VaANG units, help interested applicants determine their eligibility for military service and specific career fields, and recruit candidates for open positions.

The VaANG is comprised of the 192nd Fighter Wing based at LAFB; the 200th Weather Flight and the VaANG Headquarters both located at Richmond International Airport, Sandston; and the 203rd Red Horse Squadron stationed at Camp Pendleton, Virginia Beach.

The recruiting staff now working out of LAFB includes:
Recruiters:
Master Sgt. Angela Hill- 757-764-1574
Master Sgt. Dan Miller- 757-764-1274
Staff Sgt. Toya Aubert- 757-764-3472
Recruiting and Retention Superintendent:
Senior Master Sergeant Josh Costen- 757-764-1829
