Engineers demolish "crack" house
Photos by Lt. Col. Chester C. Carter, III

Soldiers of the 276th Engineer Battalion were actively engaged in City of Richmond's war on drugs.   These soldiers had been given a mission through the Virginia National Guard counter drug program to destroy a "crack" house in a Richmond neighborhood.   Missions like this provide soldiers an opportunity to improve their skills in planning engineer activities and operating engineer equipment while ridding neighborhoods of buildings that invite illegal activity.
