Slots still available for Virginia Guard summer camps

FORT PICKETT, Va. — Slots are still available for the Teen Wilderness Camp and the Annual Summer Camp.
The Teen Wilderness Adventure Camp will be held June 28 – July 2 at Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing in New Castle.
This camp is open to Virginia National Guard and the Reserve youths 13-17 years old. It will offer the perfect forum for youth to grow together in a non-traditional learning environment. WAEL offers many activities that develop leadership and effective communication.
The 4th Annual Youth Camp will be held Aug. 2-7 at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach. This camp will be packed with interactive classes, youth team building activities and day trips. This camp is open to youth aged 8-12 years old and offers the perfect forum for youth to grow together in a nontraditional learning environment.
All registration forms must be faxed or emailed by May 1. Click HERE for a registration form.
