172 Virginia Army Guard Soldiers ordered to active duty

RICHMOND, Va. – Maj. Gen. Robert B. Newman, Jr., the Adjutant General of Virginia, announced that approximately 172 Soldiers of the Virginia Army National Guard will enter active federal service at their home armories on May 11, 2007. The Guardsmen are currently scheduled to travel to their mobilization station, Camp Shelby, Miss., after a short period of duty at their home armories. Units affected by this mobilization are:
