Geographic Information System

The VAARNG-FM-E GIS Office supports the mission of VAARNG-FM-E by providing a full service Geographic Information System. This system is based on ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.2 software. This allows map creation, data analysis and data storage in geodatabases.

VAARNG-FM-E GIS Office also has the ability to capture data with a Trimble professional grade Global Positioning System (GPS). Work orders must be submitted and approved to receive services.
